Faith Christian Standout Danny Schrock Signs with OCU

SUGARCREEK, OH - Ohio Christian head coach Tony Stockman is pleased to announce the addition of Danny Schrock to the men's basketball program. Schrock enjoyed a phenomenal prep career at Faith Christian Academy where he played for head coach Michael Miller. Under the direction of coach Miller, Schrock led FCA to a combined 42-11 record during his junior and senior seasons.
"We are thrilled to add a quality young man like Danny to our program," said Coach Stockman. "Danny has a very high basketball IQ and is a gifted scorer. We are looking forward to having Danny and the entire Schrock family as the newest members of our campus community."
Schrock was a gifted scorer for FCA, averaging 22.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. He was a marksman shooter as he knocked down 85% of his free throws and 45% of his three point shots. He led the FCA Blazers on a historical run during his junior season in 2010-11 as they went 24-4 and won their first ever state championship. Schrock led his team to another great season in 2011-12 as FCA went 18-7 and reached their 2nd straight state title game, coming up short by just one point.
Schrock posted career totals of 1,369 points, 334 assists, and 182 steals. He was a career 80% free throw shooter and knocked down three pointers at a 37% clip. Danny was also an honor roll student at FCA, graduating with a 3.7 GPA.
