Ohio Christian Overpowers Welch College in 101-45 Win

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The OCU Trailblazers ran past visiting Welch College on Friday night in a blowout, 101-45.  OCU took a 17-3 lead to open the game and never looked back as the host Blazers (19-8) coasted to victory.  

OCU held Welch to 26.8% shooting on the night as the Blazers countered with 51.3% from the field.  OCU won the battle of the boards 49-30.  Ohio Christian went 10 of 17 from three point range for 58.9%.

Ohio Christian placed five players in double figures as Milen Kostov and Trey Vaughan each tossed in 16 points.  Wesley Russell went for 15 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds.  James Nelson had 13 points and 5 boards in the win.  Devyn Benson added 10 points on 4 of 5 shooting from the field.

OCU is back in action on Saturday when they host Crown College (TN) at 3:00 PM.  OCU won the first meeting by six points in Powell, TN earlier this semester.
