Ean Hammond Sets Personal Record at Cedarville

CEDARVILLE, OH - The OCU Cross Country Team headed west to take part in the highly competitive Cedarville University Friendship Invitational this past week.  The meet is one of the top events in the state of Ohio for intercollegiate cross county.

On the men's side, Ean Hammond led the Blazers with a personal record of 30:11.  His time placed him in 102nd overall.  Jake Hart ran a 32:12 followed by Nate Stanley who finished the course in 33:11.

The women's side had a great showing as they finished in 11th place.  They competed in a field that included NCAA Division I teams from Wright State University and Cleveland State University.  

Brooke Gardner was sensational once again as she finished in 20:04 to place 34th.  Haley Shank had a great performance with a time of 22:32.  Naomi Wall, Allison DeVore, Megan Price, and Alyna Rash all had strong showings for OCU as the team took 11th overall.
