Clyde Strait Named Head Coach of Golf Program

Clyde Strait has been named the new Head Coach of the OCU Golf Program.  Although new to the realm of coaching, he has a wealth of golf experience.  While pursuing his degree in Business Administration from Franklin University, he was employed at Blacklick Woods Golf Couse in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.  After graduation, he worked for E-Z-Go Golf Cars. This led him to opportunities in Northern Florida where he learned much about the golf industry.

Clyde is an avid golfer and has played numerous courses throughout the United States.  He is currently a member at Cook’s Creek Golf course in Ashville, Ohio.

When asked about his plans for the golf program he said, “I am looking forward to developing a golf program that will be competitive and represent Ohio Christian University in a positive light.”

Clyde and his wife Susan live in Circleville and are active with the youth programs at Blessed Hope Bible Church in Ashville.
