Golf Program Signs Membership with Local Course

Ohio Christian University is excited to announce that this will be the first year their golf program will have the opportunity to compete as a varsity sport representing the school.  The most crucial stride in accomplishing this goal is the membership agreement between the golf program and Cooks Creek Golf Course.

Head Coach Greg Davis and course Head Professional Ken Corliss reached an agreement this past July to make Cooks Creek the home course for Trailblazer Golf.  This agreement will allow the team daily practice time, recruitment opportunities, and provides a course for the team to host its own competitive invitational to connect and compete with NCCAA, OCAC, and NAIA schools.

OCU's first ever invitational will be held on Friday September 24, 2010.  Clark State Community College and Cincinnati Christian University have already agreed to come and participate in the competition.
