All-District Miami Trace Senior Ian Swingle Inks with OCU Soccer

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Miami Trace standout Ian Swingle has signed his letter of intent to play soccer at OCU.  Swingle signed this past week in the high school library in the company of friends, family, and coaches.

Swingle was a 4 year varsity player at Miami Trace.  He was a team captain in both his junior and senior years.  He had a sensational senior year, highlighted by being selected as a 1st Team All-Conference honoree in the SCOL.  He was also honored as a 1st Team All-District selection as a senior.
Swingle also has enjoyed a strong club career, playing with the Crew Juniors U18 club this past season.  Prior to playing for the Crew Juniors he played for Club X.
"We have been looking at Ian all year and he has been very focused on making the right decision in his college career,"  Said OCU Head Coach Josh Murton.  "I believe he did make that right decision and we are excited to have him on board.  He will bring a great work ethic that will fit in well in our program."
