Blazers Knock Off KCU 5-0

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian opened up regional play on Thursday night as the Blazers hosted the Knights of Kentucky Christian.  The Blazers took care of business and picked up their first home win of the season, blanking KCU by a score of 5-0.

Emanuel Harris lit up the Knights with four goals and an assist to lead the OCU offensive effort.  Michael Duffy added a goal in the win to round out the OCU scoring.

The Steven Fabian and Pete Carman duo in goal secured the shutout for the Trailblazers.  The OCU defense kept the Knights at bay for the first shutout of the season for the Blazers.

OCU (2-3) will now prepare to face NAIA affiliate, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, on Wednesday, September 19th at 5:00 PM.
