Former Buckeye Valley Star Alex Marstiller Inks with OCU Soccer

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Alex Marstiller will be playing soccer of OCU this Fall. The former Buckeye Valley High School sensation signed on with the Blazers this past week. Marstiller made a name for himself at BVHS as a star soccer player and kicker on the football team. He initially signed with Tiffin University out of high school but will be joining OCU as a transfer student.
"Alex is a big addition for us," commented OCU Head Coach Josh Murton. "He will be able to contribute and make us a stronger, more balanced team immediately."
Marstiller received numerous accolades during his prep career in both soccer and football. During his senior season he was selected 1st Team All-NCSL, 1st Team All-County, and 1st Team All-District. He was selected as Team MVP while also being selected to play in The Division II All-Star Game.
As a football player he was named first team All-Conference in the MOAC. He was also named 1st Team All-County while receiving All-District honors.
Marstiller joins a strong OCU Soccer program that has reached 3 straight NCCAA National Championship Tournaments. The Blazers are still pursuing their first National Title.
