Men's Soccer Releases 2012 Season Schedule

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The OCU men's soccer program has announced the 2012 season schedule.  The Blazers will kickoff the season against NCAA affiliate West Virginia Tech on August 28th.  The non-conference schedule features matchups against NAIA members Union College, Georgetown College, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Berea College, and Asbury University.  OCU will also be taking on local rival and NCAA affiliate Otterbein University in a crosstown shootout in Westerville, Ohio on September 6th.

The Blazers will be in the national spotlight on October 13th when OCU travels to Grand Rapids, Michigan to take on arch rival Northland International University.  Both teams have had memorable matchups over the last three seasons in what has become an epic rivalry in the NCCAA.

The region schedule will once again be highlighted by matchups with longtime region opponents Johnson University, Crown College, and Appalachian.  All three teams have been known to bring their best effort against the Blazers and this year should be no different as OCU looks to win a 4th straight Mid-East Region Championship.
