Men's Soccer Sign Grove City standout

The men's soccer program signed Steven Fabian from Grove City on August 10, 2010 in which promises to be another stand out goal keeper for the Trailblazers.  OCU has been blessed to have solid players between the "pipes" over the past 2 years and adding Fabian will only add to the years of excellent keepers at OCU.

Steven started as varsity player for Grove City High School his sophomore and juniors year.  His senior year was cut short due to the school district canceling all fall sports for the fall last year.  He also started for the Grove City FC Magic over the past four years.

"Steven will come in right away and make a major impact.  He is athletic, quick and knows how to organize his defense", mentioned Coach Josh Murton.

OCU Soccer will be starting up 2-a-days in 6 days to prepare for the 2010 campaign.  The campaign will be the most challenging season ever for an OCU team in which they will see:

NCAA Division 3 - Otterbien College, Anderson University

NAIA - Malone College, St. Catherine College, Shawnee State University

NCCAA TOP 10 - Clearwater Christian, Atlanta Christian and Northland International Univ.

Fabian is one of thirteen new freshmen coming to OCU this fall in defense of the regional title.
