Men's Soccer Signs International Duo from Honduras

TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS - Head Coach Josh Murton is pleased to announce the addition of David Nunez and Oscar Castro to OCU Men's Soccer.  The dynamic duo comes to OCU after strong prep careers at International School in Honduras.

Oscar Nunez was a member of the Troya FC soccer club and was a standout player for International School.

"Oscar is an experienced player who will bring in a great deal of maturity to our team," commented Coach Murton.  "He's confident with the ball and has a great presence on the field.  Off the field he is a quality person who is excited to grow in his faith with God and we are very excited about his coming."
 
David Nunez was a standout goalkeeper for International School.  He also played keeper for Troya FC and Celtic FC soccer clubs.
 
Coach Murton is excited about the addition of Nunez at the goalkeeper position.  "David is another quality person that were excited to see come to OCU,  He is passionate about his faith with God and his sport, soccer.  His ability at the goalkeeper spot will help us a lot on the field."
 
OCU soccer will kick off the 2013 season in late August.  The Trailblazers will be in hot pursuit of their first-ever NCCAA National Championship this Fall.
