OCU Draws Two-Time Defending National Champs

The Mid-East Region Champs, OCU was seeding #7 for the up and coming NCCAA National tournament.  Their draw is 2-time defending National Champs Manhattan Christian College.  MCC has been a force in the NCCAA of late but that doesn't concern Coach Murton.  "We want to be the best, so we have to play the best.  It doesn't concern me at all.  We have been wanting these types of games since I have gotten here.  So we know this will be an extremely tough game, but I feel we are ready to make the step."

Manhattan Christian is 39-10-1 over the past two seasons and have the Nations leading goal scorer in Andrew Crandal with 31 goals.  MCC is #1 in the nation but for the National tournament they were seeded #2.  "It's probable because they lost 0-1 to Providence College, who is the #1 seed and #2 nationally earlier this season," added Coach Murton.

Could this be touted as the biggest game in OCU history?  Some might say it just happened with a Regional Championship win against Johnson Bible College.  Either way, OCU is writing themselves into the history books and the ride has not stopped.
