OCU Men's Soccer sign Garver

Steven Garver didn't light up the scoreboard at Cory-Rawson High School over the past four years.  What he did do was do the intangibles that usually do not get noticed.  They did on May 10th, 2010 when he signed his letter of intent to play at the defending Regional Champions OCU.  Steven in his career scored 3 goals and had 3 assists, was named the teams Most Improved Player in 2008 and was given the 110% award in 2009.  "That is what we are looking for.  Someone who comes in, gives everything they can and is coachable.  Steven fits the profile and I look to see great things from him", mention Coach Josh Murton.

Garver comes into a freshmen class that will continue to keep OCU soccer a national powerhouse.  His class consists of:

Kevin Ache - transfer from Southern State

Sebastian Bohorquez - Watterson H.S.

Alex Delong - Teays Valley H.S.

Isaac Koech - Pickerington North H.S.

"This is a smaller class so far for us compared to last year but these young men will be a big part of the continued success here at OCU", mentioned Coach Murton.  "But we have a few more coming on board here soon", he added.

The men will look to get back to the NCCAA National Tournament and it all starts against St. Catherine College on September 2nd at OCU.
