OCU Overpowers Kentucky Christian 7-0

GRAYSON, KY - The OCU Trailblazers took on regional rival Kentucky Christian on Wednesday night and left no doubt who the better team was in a one sided 7-0 victory.  The win puts OCU at 7-6 on the season as the 4th ranked Blazers pursue a 4th straight Mid-East Region title.

The OCU offense was led by senior Dave Blamo who racked up 3 goals in a hat trick performance.  Emanuel Harris found the back of the net twice in the win.  Chad Dobbs and Alex Marstiller rounded out the scoring with a goal each.
 
The OCU defense was once again solid as the Trailblazers had their 4th shutout of the season.  OCU was the aggressor the entire match as the Blazers enjoyed a 31-4 shot advantage.  Ohio had 19 shots on goal compared to only 1 for the host Knights.  The win is the 34th straight region win for the Blazers, a streak dating back to 2010.
 
OCU is back in action on Saturday when the travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to take on #2 ranked Northland International University.
