OCU Soccer Prepares to Serve in Seattle

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The OCU soccer program is heading west to minister in Seattle.  The Trailblazers will be serving alongside Living Hope Community Church in an community outreach effort while leading the 2012 Cleat Soccer Camp.  OCU Athletic Director Ben Belleman will be leading the camp alongside Head Coach Josh Murton.

OCU players will be intstructing and working alongside the camp participants from start to finish.  The camp is offered to children in the local community from Kindergarten all the way up through 9th grade.  The camp will be an opportunity for OCU athletes to integrate faith and sport as student-athletes.

The OCU athletic department has made a commitment to serve others through sport.  Men's Basketball senior Milen Kostov served with Athletes in Action on a summer outreach tour in June and July.  The men's soccer team will be serving over the next two weeks in Seattle.  Members of the OCU women's basketball team will be heading to the Dominican Republic in December on a missions trip with Score International.
