OCU Soccer Signs Josh Liedtke from Worthington Kilbourne
COLUMBUS, OH - Ohio Christian University has signed their first recruit for the class of 2013. Josh Liedtke signed his letter of intent alongside friends and family on the campus of Worthington Kilbourne High School on Tuesday afternoon.
Liedtke started 16 of 22 games in his junior year and tallied 2 goals and 4 assists. As a sophomore, he was awarded the "Varsity Coach's Award" for his leadership and contribution to the team. Josh also played for the Thunder Soccer Club where he has served as team captain for the past 4 years. This Spring he will be competing as a member of the FC Forty Two club team.
"Josh Liedtke is a great addition to our men's soccer program," commented OCU Head Coach Josh Murton. "He has a great skill set as a very experienced soccer player but he is also a 'mission fit' our campus and athletic program."
Lietke joins an OCU program that has reached four straight NCCAA National Tournaments.
