Region Streak Continues in 3-1 Win Over Johnson University

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - OCU knocked off Johnson University 3-1 on Saturday to move to 3-0 in Mid-East Region competition this season.  The Blazers are now 4-5 on the season overall and have won back to back games for the first time this year.

The last time the OCU mens soccer program gave up a goal in Mid-East Region play was in a 5-1 win in October of 2010 against Kentucky Christian University. Since then OCU has outscored regional opponents 45-0 over a two year span. Johnson University broke that streak on Saturday, but they didn't break the win streak OCU has at now 32 wins in a row defeating Johnson 3-1.

"We had a pretty good game," commented Head Coach Josh Murton.  "We out possessed them through out the game and had a lot of scoring opportunities. I feel we are making progress to our goal of playing deciplined game day in and day out."
