#5 Trailblazers Lose to #4 Central Bible College 67 - 85

Foul trouble and very poor shooting took the Blazers out of the National running Thursday night against the host team Central Bible. 

"We had a great tournament environment with a full house to play in Thursday night but the guys came out tight and got into foul trouble early and we were fighting an uphill battle the whole game" said coach Christopher.

Blazers Road Wins Finish Out Regular Season

The Trailblazers finished the regular season this weekend in Tennessee 2 and 0.  On Friday night the Blazers took on the Crown College in Powell, TN.  Crown came out with a lot of energy and their fans were very enthusiastic.  OCU's experience, depth and defensive intensity was just too much for the young Crown team with a final score of 92 - 57.  "Rebounding was key for us.

Blazers Win Final Season Home Game

It was the last home game of the year. It was senior night. There was a ten home game winning streak on the line. The two teams were playing for first place in the league. Where was this game being played? The Leadership Center of Ohio Christian University. The Trailblazers were taking on their league rivals Kentucky Christian University.

Blazers Move to 19-3

The Trailblazers move to 19 and 3 with a win over Southern State by a score of 93 to 69. The team is now 8 and 0 in the Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference and could be the number one seed if they win against World Harvest Bible College on Friday. The Blazers had their hands full in Southern's shooting guard Tirrell Cumberland. Tirrell came into tonight's game averaging 35 points a game.

Blazers Win 2 In Regional Play

The team was back into regional play on Friday night against Crown College of Knoxville, TN. Crown started big and physical in the first few minutes of the game but their inexperience began to show as OCU pressured the ball at every position. The Trailblazer caused Crown to turn the ball over 38 times, a season record, which led the team to an 86 to 42 win.

Blazers Win at Home

The Trailblazers of Ohio Christian University were home Tuesday night against Ohio State University Mansfield. The team moves to 16 and 3 with a score of 101 to 55. "The first game between these two schools was up and down the floor with a final score of 130 to 96. We slowed the game down and played good half court defense tonight keeping them from getting into a fast pace game.
