OCU Sweeps Two Game Series in Michigan

The OCU men's basketball team travelled to Lansing, Michigan this past weekend and came away with two big road wins against Great Lakes Christian College. On Friday night the Blazers had four players score in double figures en route to a 90-74 victory. Rob Lassiter and Chris Thompson led the charge as they each scored 25 points in the win. Dan Garnett added 19 points in a solid performance. Adam Polley played big inside as he tallied 10 points, 12 rebounds, and blocked 5 shots. On Saturday afternoon, the Blazers and Crusaders battled once again and OCU came away with another victory, winning 81-70. Chris Thompson had a team high 33 points for OCU in the win. Dan Garnett tossed in 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Rob Lassiter finished with 13 points and a game high 8 assists. OCU is now 6-8 on the season and 5-1 against NCCAA competition.
