OCU Weekend Sports Review

The OCU volleyball team, ranked #13 extended its record to 12-10 overall, and 7-4 in regional play. The Lady Trailblazers defeated Johnson Bible College in three straight games, but then went on to lose to Appalachian Bible College in five games. Against Johnson, Marlaina Shotsky had 16 kills, with a 64% kill percentage. Freshman Brittany Martin finished the match with 13 kills and a 52% kill percentage. Both players set new season highs for themselves for kill percentage. In the Appalachian match, OCU took a two game lead, but then lost the next three. OCU will face #14 Kentucky Christian on Tuesday, and then will host the Trailblazer Classic on Friday and Saturday.

The OCU men's soccer team lost to Great Lakes Christian College on Friday 0-4. The Trailblazers won by forfeit on Saturday. Their record now stands at 1-4. Ohio Christian will host Appalachian Bible College on Tuesday, and then they will travel to St. Catherine College on Thursday.
