OCU Women lose to Grace BibleThe OCU women's basketball team lost to Grace Bible College on Monday night 100-55. Ohio Christian got into a deep hole in the first half when the Tigers shot a blistering 60% from the field, taking a 54-19 halftime lead. The Blazers played much better in the second half, but were unable to overcome the first half deficit. Freshman Brittany Martin finished the game with 19 points, while sophomore point guard Angela Hawk added 15 points and 4 steals. Head Coach Mandy Wray said "This game really showed us the things we need to work on and improve. We came out very nervous and tight in the first half, but once we settled down and got into our offense, we played much better in the second half. We need to continue to work hard to improve each day in practice." |
