OCU Finishes in 2nd Place for NCCAA Presidents Cup

GREENVILLE, SC - The Ohio Christian University athletic department has finished as runner-up in the run for the 2012 NCCAA Presidents Cup. The award is presented annually to the institution in each division that compiles the most points through National Championship competition. OCU was edged out by Clearwater Christian College who came away with the National Championship in women's volleyball. Ohio Christian received points for their strong finishes in the NCCAA National Championship tournaments for Men's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Men's Baseball, and Men's Basketball.
Points were awarded as follows: 1st place - 12 points, 2nd - 9 points, 3rd - 8 points, 4th - 6 points, 5th - 5 points, 6th - 4 points, 7th - 3 point, 8th - 1 point.
