Women's Basketball Signs Eastmoor Academy's 6'0 Post Standout
The Lady Traiblazers signed Asia Glenn, a 6'0 post player from Eastmoor Academy in Columbus, this weekend. Glenn averaged a double-double (10 points and 10 rebounds) this season and was an All-City League selection. Asia also excels in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society with a 4.0 cumulative high school GPA, and has received many awards including the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club Award, the Starlite Cotillion Academic Achievement Award, and the OSU Young Women in Science Award.
Head Coach Mandy Wray said, "We are extemely excited to have Asia sign to play for us, and I look forward to seeing her continue to develop and reach her full potential over the next four years of her career. Her athleticism and speed from the post position are unique attributes and will fit perfectly with our fast-paced, transition style of play. Asia is a dominant presence in the paint and is a very strong rebounder, and she will be a force to be reckoned with for opposing teams. We are very fortunate to have Asia, not only for her athletic ability but for the leadership she will bring to our team and our school as a whole."
