On Labor Day the OCU women soccer program began to regroup and move forward. Playing a much improved Atlanta Christian College, whom OCU lost to last year 0-1, the ladies started down early in the contest 0-1 only to come back off a beautiful display of possession soccer between Sarah Peters, Liesi South and finished by freshman Heidi Bryan who scored her second goal of the season.&n

The 2010 season opener and first OCAC conference match pitted Ohio Christian University versus Southern State Community College. Linette Shetler led the team with 10 kills on 67% hitting percentage and tallied 4 aces. OCU's libero, Tiffany Mosher, led OCU defensively with 14 digs.

As a senior in the 2010 campaign, Marlene had 73 at bats for the Pirates with 30 hits, 4 doubles, 6 triples, and 6 home runs for a .411 batting average.
