Blazers Win Two on the Road
After the loss to Kentucky Christian University last Tuesday night, the Trailblazers of Ohio Christian University had something to prove when they hit the road Friday and Saturday. The first stop was in Louisville, Kentucky Friday night against Boyce College. The Blazers started with a lot of ball pressure and never slowed down as they beat Boyce with a score of 94 to 50.
Mahalia (Hali) Burleson Signs for 2010 Volleyball Season
Hali Burleson, daughter of Jay and Sue Burleson, has signed with Ohio Christian University to play volleyball. Hali was coached by Valerie Westfall at Ohio Valley Christian School in Gallipolis, Ohio. Hali's team has gone to State both her junior and senior year. She also played club for SEOVC for four years.
Rucker signs with Lady Trailblazers
West Jefferson's Brittany Rucker signed her letter of intent this week to play for the OCU Lady Trailblazers and Head Coach Mandy Wray next season. Brittany played high school varsity for three years and has played in AAU since 6th grade.

Lady Blazers sign first recruit for 2010-11 season
Jordan Beasley will come to OCU from Adams County Christian School. Jordan holds her school's record for points in a single game (49). She scored her 1000th point this season against Gallipolis on December 5th. Jordan is averaging 28.5 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals so far in her senior season. #3 Blazers Move to 12-2 with Road Win
The number three Ohio Christian University Trailblazers move to 12 and 2 with a road win over Ohio State University Mansfield 130 to 94. "Mansfield was small but quick" said OCU Coach Christopher. They pressed the whole game which in turn made us get up and down the floor a lot. This was the first game back from Christmas break and was good for the guys to get out and run.
Blazers Look To Second Half of Season
With a light schedule going into Christmas break, one of the toughest tasks for Ohio Christian men's basketball coach Curtis Christopher has been keeping the Trailblazers focused.
"Without our student section, which is very good to help fire our kids up for these type of games, it is a little hard for us to get them up," Christopher said.
Blazers Tally Another Win
The Men's basketball team of Ohio Christian University was at home tonight against Ohio University Zanesville. The students have all gone home for Christmas but that did not stop the Trailblazers from taking care of business in a quiet gymnasium defeating OU Zanesville 89 to 58.
Lady Blazers Win Big and Advance to 12-1
The Ohio Christian University women's basketball team came out Monday night focused and ready for their last game before they break for the holidays. The Lady Blazers full court pressure defense proved to be too much for the Tracers from OU-Zanesville, as OCU jumped out to a 62-26 halftime lead. It was more of the same in the second half, with the Lady Blazers defeating the Tracers
Men's Soccer Sign 1st Recruit for 2010
Kevin comes to OCU from Southern State Community College where he is one of only two players to be named team captain his freshman and sophomore years. Since SSCC is a 2 year college, Kevin wanted to further his college career and education. OCU became a perfect fit for him. While at Southern State, Kevin scored 9 goals and 8 assists leading the team to the schools only 2 winn
