Harris Named Player of the Year by CCSN.net

Sophomore, Emanuel Harris, was named Player of the Year by the Christian College Sports Network (ccsn.net) for 2009."Eman" had 22 goals and 18 assists for the 2009 campaign but also created the goal that shocked a nation by assisting Dave Blamo's goal against Manhattan Christian in what many say is the "Greatest upset in NCCAA history". 

Men's Soccer Players Honored with All-American Awards

The NCCAA and NSCAA announced that Ohio Christian Men's Soccer have 2 1st Team All-Americans, the first in 23 years.

Blazers Open Mid-East Region with Win

The Ohio University Trailblazers opened the mid east regional league play tonight with a win against Boyce College 114 to 45. The Trailblazers now 8 and 2 started strong tonight and ended strong. They shot 25 for 38 from the three point line at 62 percent. They had a season record 25 steals on the night and 8 blocked shots.

Lady Blazers advance to 10-0

The Ohio Christian University women's basketball team traveled to Toccoa Falls, Georgia over the weekend to face two NCCAA opponents.  On Friday, OCU defeated Toccoa Falls Christian College 76-44.  Freshman guard Shelby Roe led a balanced OCU attack with 14 points.

Trailblazers Win Over OU Lancaster

The Trailblazers of Ohio Christian University move to 7and 2 with a win over Ohio University Lancaster Wednesday night 91 to 64. The Trailblazers jumped out to an early lead by pressing the ball early in the game. The team had 13 steals for the game which lead to transition points. The Blazers shot well from the field shooting 58 percent from the field and 50 percent from the three point line.

Lady Trailblazers advance to 8-0

For the first time in the history of the OCU women's basketball program, the Lady Trailblazers defeated the Cougars of OU-Lancaster on Wednesday night 63-55.  With the win, OCU (currently ranked #4 in the NCCAA National poll) remained undefeated for the season, advancing to 8-0, which is also the best start in the history of the program.  Freshman guard Dannyel Butte led a balanced OC

Lady Blazers Win Two More

The Ohio Christian University women's basketball team traveled to Phoenixville, PA over the weekend.  On Friday, the Lady Blazers defeated Valley Forge Christian College 74-69.  OCU was led by freshmen guards Shelby Roe (19 points) and Courtney Schilling (13).  Senior All-American guard Brenda Carter also chipped in 11 points, and junior forward Danielle Fleming added 10 points.&

Trailblazers 5-2

The Trailblazer's of Ohio Christian University won one and lost one over the weekend. The Trailblazer's now 5 and 2 traveled to Phoenixville PA this weekend to take on last year's national runner up Valley Forge Christian University on Friday. The team came out flat and slow against a quick and hard pressing Valley Forge. "We could not get up to game speed says Coach Christopher.

OCU Men's Named All-Tournament Team

OCU Men's Soccer Team made a splash in the National Tournament.  They could not do it without the men named to the NCCAA National All-Tournament Team.

OCU Men's Soccer End Story Book Season

OCU Men's Soccer did the unbelievable.  In 2007, the program hit rock bottom, going 1-16.  In 2008 OCU hired Josh Murton and he led them to a 10-5-1 record, a school record.  In 2009 the men took one more step towards being nationally known and took the nation by storm by going undefeated in the National Tournament.  OCU started by upsetting 2 time defending National Champs,
