Men's Basketball Signs Dynamic Duo from Whetstone High School

COLUMBUS, OH - The 2013 NCCAA National Champion Trailblazers added a dynamic duo this past week as Gary Hoover and Claude Bogan both signed their letter of intent to attend Ohio Christian University.

The pair signed alongside their high school coach, Kevin Arway, as well as a host of friends, family, and high school staff members.  Hoover and Bogan helped carry the load for Whetstone this past year as both players took home All-League Honors.

Hoover led the Braves in scoring (14.0) and rebounding (9.0) and was among the area leaders in field-goal percentage (52.1). Bogan averaged 12 points and 2.7 assists and had a career-high 31 points with seven steals in a win over Beechcroft.

Hoover, known for his hustle on the floor, took home All-District recognition for his strong showing as a senior.

The tandem joins an Ohio Christian Program that is seeking their second straight NCCAA National Title.  The 2013-14 season will tip-off in November in Cincinnati.
