Wes Brothers, Head Coach


Coach Wes BrothersWes Brothers joined the OCU family in the Summer of 2006. He is excited about entering his second season as head coach for the women’s volleyball team. Wes has had 11 years of volleyball coaching experience. The teams he has been a part of have achieved such accolades as earning a conference championship, making it to the top 16 teams in the state at the high school level, being ranked in the top 20 in NAIA Division II, and winning the NCCAA Division I Championship at the collegiate level.

In 2007, the Lady Trailblazers enjoyed their best season in school history setting school records in matches won (21) during a season, games won (64), and achieving a regional record of 15-1.
Wes graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social Studies Education and Political Science from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2001. Before moving back to Ohio in 2006, he and his wife Sara lived and taught overseas in Bahrain at the Bahrain Bayan School for two years. He now works in the financial aid department as a financial aid advisor. Wes currently lives in the new dorm with his wife Sara who is the Resident
Director and their daughter Emma.
