Asia Woodson Named NCCAA Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, SC - Asia Woodson, freshman guard from Ohio Christian University, averaged 18.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals in 2 wins.  Woodson enjoyed a strong shooting streak, going 15 of 25 from the field. The Lady Blazers defeated OSU-Newark 86-59 and Valor Christian College 75-60.  Woodson tallied a season high 30 points against NAIA affiliate, Midway College, earlier in the year.

The NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week award is given to one player in both Divisions I and II, chosen from a list of nominees submitted each week. In addition to performing at high level in athletic competition, the student-athlete should exemplify the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA.
