Blazers Offense Scores 90 in Win Over Chillicothe
CHILLICOTHE, OH - The OCU women's basketball team travelled south to Chillicothe on Tuesday night to take on Ohio University Chillicothe in what proved to be a barnburner of a game offensively. OCU was without star forward Sharonda Jones who was inactive due to injury. The Blazers offense was on fire as they scored 90 points on their way to a 90-82 victory. The Trailblazers move to 7-1 on the season and the OCU offense has led the charge scoring an impressive 199 points over their last two games.
Amy Jo Bishop led the Blazers with 18 points in the win. Kim Craycraft tallied 14 points while Chelsea Black tossed in 13. Kara Zwick, Dannyel Butte, and Matitza Will all scored 12 points respectively.
OCU is back in action on December 1st, when they take on local rival Ohio University Lancaster on the road at 6:00PM.
