Lady Blazers defeat OU-Chillicothe again

The Ohio Christian University women's basketball team defeated Ohio University-Chilicothe on Tuesday 90-55.  After a slow start for both teams, the Lady Blazers led 36-26 at halftime.  OCU's full-court pressure took the toll on OU-Chillicothe in the second half, expanding their lead to on steals and transistion baskets.  OCU was led by senior All-American Brenda Carter with 20 points.  Junior forward Danielle Fleming added 17 points and 10 rebounds, and freshman guard Shelby Roe chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.  Freshman post Asia Glenn tallied a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds, and freshman guard Dannyel Butte also finished in double figures with 10 points.
With the win, the Lady Traiblazers advanced to 4-0 overall.  They will travel to Valley Forge Christian College over the weekend to play VFCC and Davis College (NY) on Friday and Saturday.
