Lady Blazers Finish as Mid-East Region Runner-Up; Earn 5th Seed at National Tournament

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian battled with Kentucky Christian University for the third time this year on Saturday afternoon and came up short to finish as Runner-Up in the Mid-East Region.

KCU took a commanding first half lead and went into halftime leading by a dozen with the score at 35-23.  The host Trailblazers fought back courageously in the second half, erasing the deficit and taking a one point lead with 11 minutes remaining in the game.

The OCU comeback was short lived however as KCU regained the lead.  Trailing by 8 points, OCU was forced to foul down the stretch as KCU went on to win the game 76-62.
