Lady Blazers sign first recruit for 2010-11 season

Jordan Beasley will come to OCU from Adams County Christian School.  Jordan holds her school's record for points in a single game (49).  She scored her 1000th point this season against Gallipolis on December 5th.  Jordan is averaging 28.5 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals so far in her senior season.  She was the 2009 Wendy's Heisman winner.  Jordan's success extends off the court as well.  She received the Kids Who Care Award, is a National Honor Society Member and Student Council President.

"We are excited about having Jordan join us next year.  She can score in a variety of ways, and I think she will fit our system well," commented Coach Wray.

Jordan is the first recruit to sign with the Lady Blazers for the 2010-11 season.   The OCU women have started this season out very well, currently 14-2 and ranked 3rd in the NCCAA National Poll.  "Jordan starts us off in the right direction for next year. We are having a great season so far this year, but we are always looking to continue to get better."
