OCU Eclipses Clark State 109-47

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The OCU women kicked off their OCAC schedule by dominating visiting Clark State on Tuesday night as they Blazers came away with a one side 109-47 victory.
OCU came out of the gate on a mission as they took an early 26-3 lead to start the game. Clark State would fight back but it would prove to be too little and too late. The Trailblazers walked into the intermission with a comfortable 56-23 advantage.
Ohio Christian continued that all out assault in the second half as they went on to lead by over 60 points. The Trailblazers went on to win by a wide margin as 6 different players scored in double digits. OCU tallied 32 assists and held a 46-16 rebounding advantage in the win.
Chelsea Black led OCU with 18 points, 9 assists, and 9 rebounds. Shelby Roe and Kara Zwick added 14 each for OCU. Brittany Rucker talled 11 points while Sharonda Jones and Sarah Bechtel tossed in 10 each.
OCU is now 6-1 on the season and 1-0 in the OCAC.
