OCU Falls to NCAA Cedarville on the Road 72-45 as Woodson Scores 21

CEDARVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian took on NCAA Divisions II member, Cedarville University on Thusday night and came up short in a challening road contest.
OCU struggled early on as Cedarville laid claim to a 37-20 lead at halftime. The Trailblazers fought back and rallied to within 13 points with the score at 39-26 early in the second period. The Yellow Jackets responded strongly with a 28-8 run to put the game out of reach for good. Cedarville went on to win 72-45.
OCU was led by Asia Woodson who scored a team high 21 points. Kayla Jenerette led Cedarville with a game high 23 points. OCU struggled from the field, shooting 17 of 64 for 26.6%.
Ohio Christian is back in action on Saturday afternoon when they host OSU Newark in a 1:00 PM game.
