Olentangy Orange Standout Maddy Joseph Commits to OCU

LEWIS CENTER, OH - Head Coach Mandy Wray is happy announce the commitment of Madison Joseph to the OCU women's basketball program. Maddy signed her letter of intent this past week in a special ceremony at Olentangy Orange High School.

Joseph comes from a strong basketball pedigree and comes to OCU fresh off a memorable senior season at Olentangy Orange. Under the direction of coach Mary Ann Grimes, Joseph helped lead the Pioneers to a 26-3 record during the 2012-13 season.

The Pioneers reached the State Final Four and Joseph went on to receive 2nd Team All-OCC honors in addition to All-District recognition for her sensational season.

"We are looking forward to Maddy playing for us next year," commented coach Mandy Wray. "She is an excellent shooter and has great basketball IQ. She comes from a very successful high school program and knows what it takes to win."

Joseph joins a successful women's basketball program that has reached four straight NCCAA National Tournaments. Maddy will look to give the Lady Blazers a boost as they continue to pursue their first ever NCCAA Regional and National Titles.
