All-District Logan Elm Runner Brooke Gardner Chooses OCU

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Ohio Christian University Cross Country and Track programs are pleased to announce the signing of Brooke Gardner of Logan Elm High School.  Gardner will be competing for OCU in the Fall of 2012.  Brooke is a three time All Mid-State League honoree and 2011 All Southeast District performer in cross country with a personal best of 19:58. Gardner also enjoyed succed on the track.  She has been a Regional qualifier in the 1600 Meter run the last two seasons with a personal record of 5:31.2.

Gardner was heavily recruited by NCAA Division III schools and chose OCU after a lengthy recruiting process.  She will be a key component of both Cross Country and Track over the next four years as both programs look to compete at a higher level.
