OCU Women Defeat Grace 3-1 for 2nd Straight Win

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The OCU women's soccer team won their 2nd straight game in a time span of 24 hours with a 3-1 victory at home against Grace Bible College on Saturday afternoon. 

Katie Saha continued her hot streak with a pair of goals for the Trailblazers.  For Saha it gave her five goals in just two games.  Sara Hildreth also found the back of the net for Ohio Christian as she scored in the win.

Goalkeeper Amy Hardbarger played a key factor as she kept Grace in check for 90 minutes as she tallied 4 saves while surrendering just one goal.  Hardbarger has led a much improved defense that has surrendered just 3 goals over the last two games.  OCU has outscored opponents 7-3 during their two game winning streak.

"Saha is playing a huge role in our success and she getting comfortable with the college game," said head coach Josh Murton.  "Caldwell, Hardbarger, and Zenner are also stepping into their roles nicely to give us a huge boost on the field.  We are gaining confidence and growing as a team which is a huge step in our success."

OCU is back in action on Wednesday when they take on NAIA affliliate Pikeville College at home for a 2pm start.
