Women's Soccer Loses 5-0 vs Shawnee State

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Lady Blazers hosted NAIA affiliate, Shawnee State on Wednesday night and came up on the losing end of a 5-0 score.  Shawnee scored the first goal and never looked back as the Bears proved to be too much for the Blazers.

OCU (1-3) was coming off of their first win of the season against Grace Bible College before running into SSU.  The Blazers were also coming into this game after enduring a week and half layoff in between games.  Shawnee State came into the game fresh off of wins vs Bluffton University and West Virginia Teach.

"We are getting healthy and we looked really good at the beginning of the 2nd half," commented OCU Head Coach Josh Murton.  "If we can stay healthy and stay at full strength we should be able to gain some momentum heading into October."

The Blazers are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on Ohio Mid-Western University.
