Jessica Walcutt Commits to OCU Softball

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Jessica Walcutt has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Ohio Christian University. Walcutt signed her name on the dotted line with her mother and grandparents in attendance during a special ceremony on the OCU campus.
Walcutt joins a up an coming team that won a program record 18 games in 2012 on their way to reaching the OCAC Championship game. "I chose OCU because I love the friendly atmosphere on campus and the small class sizes," commented Walcutt.
Jessica played 3 years of varsity softball at Groveport Madison High School where she helped lead her team to an OCC Championship. She is also a five year member of the Lady Wizards select team. As a two-time Coaches Award winner for the Lady Wizards, Walcutt led the team in runs scored last season as the Lady Wizards reached the 2011 World Series in Myrtle Beach.
