Sarah also excels academically. She finished her high school career with a 3.6 GPA. During her high school career Sarah earned Academic All State Honorable Mention honors in 2009, and graduated with Academic All State honors.
"We are very excited to have Sarah coming to OCU. She had originally considered attending the University of Kentucky and walking on to their program, but felt led to pursue a degree in Youth Ministry and started looking our way," said OCU head coach Emory Clark. "Sarah will bring a good mix of skills to our team. She is an accomplished outfielder, a good hitter, and is willing to do what she needs to do to help our team."
"This has been our best recruiting year thus far," said Coach Clark. "I look for Sarah and our other incoming players to join our returning players and help us see OCU softball have our best season yet. We are really excited about where our program could go this coming season."
