Volleyball Adds All-County Outside Hitter Sarah Hasel
LAGRANGE, OH - The incoming recruiting class for Head Coach Dave Hopewell is shaping up to be very impressive. On Thursday, Keystone High School sensation Sarah Hasel became the latest talented addition to the roster as the senior inked with the Trailblazers.
Hasel comes to OCU after playing under varsity coach Buddy Trego and club coach Tina Siegel.
"Sarah has been one of our top prospects since first meeting her," commented Coach Hopewell. "Sarah is one of those players that is going to fill the shoes left by our graduating seniors. Though she will be a freshmen, we are excited to see her grow on the court with the team. She brings a lot of experience and talent that will make our team compete at a higher level."
Hasel was an All-Country selection during her senior year. She also received All-Conference honors and was also selected as a Lorain County All-Stare.
She joins an OCU volleyball program with a lot of momentum. After winning the 2012 Regional Championship and reaching their first ever NCCAA National Tournament, the Trailblazers are poised to make an even bigger splash this Fall.
