Volleyball Caps Off D.C. Trip with Win Over Lancaster Bible

WASHINGTON D.C. - Ohio Christian headed to our nation's capital over the weekend to take part in the Catholic University of America Volleyball Invitational.  OCU took on three NCAA Division III schools during their two days of competition.

OCU came into the weekend with a 5 game winning streak.  The streak came to an abrupt end after coming up short against both Catholic University of America and Washington College to open the tournament in back to back games.

The Trailblazers regrouped and got back on the winning track against Lancaster Bible College (PA) on Saturday.  After winning the first two games, OCU lost momentum.  The Chargers from Lancaster stormed back to win games three and four to force a winner-take-all game five.  The Trailblazers showed poise in the final game and rallied to win 15-10 as they finished the weekend with a victory.

OCU returns home with a 6-3 record and will now face Clark State on Tuesday night 6:00 PM.  The game will take place in Springfield, Ohio.
