Christian Ministries: Youth Ministries
The Youth Ministries Program is designed to equip students who desire to be involved in the discipleship of young people either in a local church or a para-church organization.
Objectives
Upon completion of the Youth Ministries program the student should be able to:
- Develop a Biblical philosophy of youth ministry, including organization, administration and staff development.
- Develop an understanding of youth culture and societal influences on it.
- Develop both relational and methodological skills for effective youth ministry.
- Develop a balanced approach to youth ministry which includes evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and recreation.
Degree Type: Bachelor of Arts
Credit Hours Required: 125 semester credit hours
Admission Requirements: Students must have a US High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 50 semester credit hours from an accredited institution of higher learning. Students with fewer than 50 semester hours may apply to an Associate of Arts program to complete this requirement.

Additional Requirements:
General Education Core = 54 hours
Religion Core = 29 hours
An additional hour of Professional Electives is required.
