Scholarships

Ohio Christian University would like to commend and reward you for your hard work in high school.  Our scholarships are awarded upon acceptance and renewed each year as long as you maintain the required GPA and full-time enrollment.*
$8,000/year Presidential Scholarship
The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to students who have documented exemplary academic success and have maintained select affiliations throughout high school, having accumulated 12+ points based on the Renewable Scholarships Point Chart.
$6,000/year Dean's Scholarship
The Dean's Scholarship is awarded to students who have shown outstanding academic achievement and/or have maintained select affiliations throughout high school, having accumulated between 9 and 11 points based on the Renewable Scholarships Point Chart.
$5,000/year Honors Scholarship
The Honors Scholarship is awarded to students who have shown outstanding academic achievement and/or have maintained select affiliations throughout high school, having accumulated between 5 and 8 points based on the Renewable Scholarships Point Chart.
$4,000/year Merit Scholarship
The Merit Scholarship is awarded to students who have shown outstanding academic achievement and/or have maintained select affiliations throughout high school, having accumulated between 1 and 4 points based on the Renewable Scholarships Point Chart.
$1000/Year Good Neighbor Quality Student Grant
The Good Neighbor Quality Student Grant is awarded to students who have graduated from a high school in one of the following counties: Pickaway, Ross, Fairfield, Fayette, Pike, Hocking, Madison, Franklin or Licking.  Students who attend and graduate from a Christian School or Homeschool are also eligible.
Church Matching Grant
OCU will match any money that a student's church contributes to his or her education with up to $500 per semester.
$500 per Sibling/Year Sibling Grant
The Sibling Grant is offered to all siblings who attend OCU at the same time and are both classifed as dependent students.
 
*Only for students who completed the FAFSA and are accepted by the priority deadline of May 1, 2013.  For students accepted and enrolled after the priority deadline, scholarships will be awarded in the following amounts: $5000/year Presidential, $3000/year Dean's, $1500 Honors and $1000/year Merit.
