TE429 Social Studies Methods for Middle Childhood

This course is a study of teaching social studies to middle grade students with an emphasis on curriculum, assessment, and the development of instructional materials, guided by the standards of the National Council of Social Studies. A field experience component of two hours two times per week is required.
