OCU Christian Ministry Students Inspired By Circleville NAZ Pastor

Wendell Brown, senior pastor of Circleville NAZ

This past January, fifteen Christian Ministry students met in the OCU Global Café for a time of fellowship with Pastor Wendell Brown, senior pastor of the Circleville NAZ. This Q & A session, the fourth in a series hosted by the Religion Department this academic year, was a valuable opportunity for students to gain insight into the practical side of ministry and to network with a successful Christian leader. As students gathered around Pastor Wendell in the homey atmosphere of the Global Café, they were inspired by the heart of a Christian leader who is making great strides in advancing the Kingdom. Pastor Wendell is a man of faith and vision who desires to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as he strives to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the lost in relevant and significant ways. This was a great learning opportunity for OCU’s ministry students as they prepare for their world changing ministries!

Last semester students met with Dr. Mark Smith, president of Ohio Christian University, Rick Addison, senior pastor of The Grace Place, and Tim Throckmorton, senior pastor of Circleville Crossroads. Additional guests in the series include Jonathon Morgan, senior pastor of Faith Memorial in Lancaster, Ohio, on February 3,  2014 and Dr. Tom Hermiz, the General Superintendent of the Churches of Christ in Christian Union, on March 3, 2014.
