Deondra Jessie Signs with Lady Blazers

OCU women's basketball coach Mandy Wray signed Deondra Jessie, the first recruit to commit to play for the Lady Blazers next season.  Jessie, a 6'3 forward, transferred to OCU this spring from Central State University.  Deondra averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game in high school, and also received All-City honors. 

"We are excited to have Deondra sign for next year.  She is extremely mobile for her size, and is a hard worker.  She will definitely give us a presence inside and cause problems for our opponents in the paint," said Head Coach Mandy Wray.
