Lady Blazers Remain Undefeated

The OCU women's basketball team remained undefeated Monday night when they defeated Valor Christian College 76-65.  The win over a much-improved Valor Christian team, advanced the Lady Trailblazer home winning streak to 16, carrying over from last year's undefeated season at home.  OCU was again led by a balanced attack, with four players scoring in double-figures.  Senior Danielle Fleming led the Lady Blazers with 17 points on 7 of 13 shooting from the field.  Freshmen Kendra Blair and Kaity Wyeth added 11 points each, while sophomore Shelby Roe added 10 points. 

The win advanced the Lady Trailblazers to 5-0 overall, and 1-0 on the OCAC (Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference).  They will travel to OSU-Newark on Thursday and then host Southern State this Saturday for another OCAC match-up.
