OCU Signs Logan Midfielder Kaitlyn Howard
OCU Women's soccer is about to enter their third season as a program. Success has come to the women, but now the off season has brought more talent than they have ever had previously. Kaitlyn is the newest recruit to come to OCU and Coach Murton couldn't be happier. "We tried Kaitlyn out about a month ago and we really liked what we saw. She was taking command of the center mid spot, a position we need. As we have gotten to know her she has a fire in her that will be a huge asset to this programs growth." Kaitlyn follows Sierra Zenner, Meaghan Stuart and Katie Saha in signing with OCU.
Kaitlyn was a four year varsity player at Logan HS where she didn't see much in the scoring sheet, but that isn't what Coach Murton see's in her. "She is going to be our 'connecter' if that is the term most easily used. She will also help us set the tempo in games which will eventually set up our scoring. So this is a big job and we just thrilled to have her."
